Data Deletion Instructions

Remove one connected account

  1. Log in at automationtools.ca.
  2. Open Accounts (or Brands).
  3. Click Disconnect next to the Facebook Page, Instagram account, YouTube channel, LinkedIn Page/profile or TikTok account.

The stored access and refresh tokens for that account are deleted immediately, scheduled posts for it are cancelled, and for Google/YouTube, Facebook/Instagram and TikTok we also ask the platform to revoke AutomationTools' access.

Delete your whole account

  1. Log in and open Settings.
  2. Click Delete my account and data.
  3. Type your account email to confirm, then click Permanently delete everything.

This immediately and permanently deletes:

  • your AutomationTools login (name, email, password hash);
  • the tokens of every connected account (access is also revoked on the platform where possible);
  • all posts, drafts, schedules and publishing history;
  • brands, templates, campaigns, notifications and AI usage records.

Media files you uploaded are removed from our server within 30 days. This cannot be undone.

Request deletion by email

Email privacy@automationtools.cafrom the address on your account with the subject "Data Deletion Request". We complete requests within 30 days and confirm by email.

Revoke access on the platform side

  • Facebook: Settings & privacy > Settings > Business integrations (or Apps and websites) > AutomationTools > Remove.
  • Instagram: Settings > Security > Apps and websites > AutomationTools > Remove.
  • YouTube / Google: myaccount.google.com/permissions > AutomationTools > Remove access.
  • LinkedIn: Settings > Data privacy > Permitted services > AutomationTools > Remove.
  • TikTok: Settings and privacy > Security > Manage app permissions > AutomationTools > Remove access.

Revoking on the platform stops our access; to also delete what we stored, disconnect the account or delete your AutomationTools account as above.

Already-published posts

Posts and videos already published on a platform stay there. Delete them directly on that platform.
